1- Assistive solutions:

These are the tools and technologies that help you deal with your health problems after the disease is being diagnosed. An interesting example is the set of software packages, mobile applications and tools built for group of diseases under dementia, and more famously Alzheimer. A quick search takes you to a lot of solutions that help the patient with their medication management, or would track their location when they are wandering, or notify their caregiver if they go outside of what is defined as their safe zone. A combination of these health related solutions help patients and their caregivers deal with the disease a lot easier and more independently.

2- Diagnosing solutions:

The second group of solutions and tools are looking at how we diagnose a disease, whether it is through interactive question and answers with decision trees or the use of machine learning to study a MRI or CT Scan to detect anomalies and patterns.

With the increased accuracy of these diagnoses solutions, the major break through is how soon we diagnose a disease as it has proven to be a game changer affect of how the other steps would go and how high would be the survival chance in the case of a terminal disease.

An interesting example of a solution in this category is the app that detects the very first signs of Alzheimer by detecting the patterns in the patient's speech.

3- Care and Treatment:

There is a huge investment in devices and solutions that help us cure a disease after it has been diagnosed. Cancer treatment improvements are a great example of how our progress in technology has helped develop tools for Radiography and Chemiography. New imaging and surgery tools help us remove the malignant tumour with a precision that was not possible a decade ago and would lead to a faster come back of the tumour.

4- Health Administration:

Last but not least is the improvement in how we manage our health organizations and services. In canada, we are not in shortage of doctors or nurses but we spend a lot of time waiting in emergency rooms and have to wait an average of a week to see our family doctor. Technology can help us get an insight on how we can manage the accessibility of patients to the services. EMR solutions are now being used in around 80% of our clinics and hospitals which means our records are being kept secure, we can refer to them anytime and anywhere and they can be transferred between clinics at a lower cost. There are a lot of advancements in this category that will definitely change the way we receive health care in future.

We, at Evenset, are excited to be involved in building new technologies that evolves our Healthcare. Every new product we work on, every new solution gives us a hope that we are moving toward a longer and healthier life for ourselves and the future generations!
